Summary

The Campus Director, Clinical Operations (Online), reporting directly to the University Director of Clinical Operations
for the Online Campus, will be responsible for the management of the clinical education team for the
online campus. They will oversee and manage the placement of students requiring clinical rotations and
ensure placement at clinical sites to correspond with their course schedule. This position will work closely
with the academic team to ensure course objectives are met through clinical experience and rotations
meet all accreditation requirements. The Campus Director, Clinical Operations (Online) will
implement streamlined processes and communication tools to standardize operations among the clinical
education team. They will also optimize use of software platforms utilized by the university to ensure
visibility of all contracts activities of the clinical education team. This position will also provide
administrative oversight for the preceptorship program.

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Oversees CCRs, CCPs, and operational staff for online programs
• Implements software platforms and automation of processes
• Collaborates on preceptorship placement with Professional Placement Regional Directors
• Ensures data integrity for placements
• Coordinates student placements and oversees paperwork submission to clinical site
• Manages incidents reported at sites
• Responsible for developing and maintaining annual clinical requests for student clinical
placements with identified facilities/providers
• Plans, coordinates, and manages students assigned to clinical sites
• Oversees compliance documentation (i.e., student/faculty profiles) is accurate prior to sending to
clinical partner.
• Delivers student/faculty clinical requirements to the site
• Responsible for overseeing the input and maintenance of the clinical scheduling software
program (e.g. CORE) for student requirements and scheduling.
• Orients students to clinical packets, health and safety requirements.
• Collaborates with Regional Director of Provider Placement on strategic planning for student
placements.
• Communicates with clinical partners regarding changes in University schedule.
• Reviews with Registrar projections for clinical placements and student assignments for upcoming
terms
• Monitor students completing clinical rotations

• Resolves student conflicts / problems in the clinical setting in collaboration with clinical team.
• General Scope of Responsibilities: Manages staffing for the function, including interviewing,
selection, counseling, and evaluation of performance to ensure effective operations and staff
engagement. Explores enrichment opportunities for staff such as seminars, specialized training
and mentorships.
• Adheres to College/University policies and procedures and conducts job responsibilities in
accordance with the standards set out in the College/University's Code of Ethical Conduct,
Compliance Agreement, Sexual Harassment Policy or any of its policies and procedures,
applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
• Maintains regular and timely attendance, reports to work as scheduled and as required to meet
the needs of the College/University and assures time worked and/or time-off is recorded properly.
• Exercises care, proper use and maintenance of department equipment and supplies and identifies
unsafe conditions and makes appropriate adjustments.
• Maintains order, cleanliness and safety at work.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from accredited university
• Driver's License

 

Experience & Skills

• 5 years of related experience with:
• Leadership knowledge in the program field to cultivate a learner-centered environment
and to foster excellence.
• Knowledge in technological support and delivery of program area and services.
• Knowledge and evidence of strong supervisory and management skills as applicable to
specialized program area.
• Knowledge of state, federal and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental
compliance and other regulatory standards such as Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) or
other nursing accrediting agencies, WSCUC, and other accreditation standards.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Knowledge of applicable databases and computer application systems to supply the most
accurate information, reports and projections.
• Program Specific Requirements: Knowledgeable of medical community and established
relationships with its professional members preferred.
• Leadership knowledge in the program field to cultivate a learner-centered environment and to
foster excellence.
• Knowledge in technological support and delivery of program area and services.
• Knowledge and evidence of strong supervisory and management skills as applicable to
specialized program area.
• Knowledge of state, federal and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental
compliance and other regulatory standards such as Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) or other

nursing accrediting agencies, WSCUC, and other accreditation standards.
• Experience with MS Office.
• Knowledge of applicable databases and computer application systems to supply the most

Program Specific Requirements: Knowledgeable of medical community and established
relationships with its professional members preferred.
• A minimum of one year prior experience working with or in clinical sites, placing students, and
coordinating related documents preferred.

CA Salary Range

USD $110,256.35 - USD $159,866.30 /Yr.

Outside CA Salary Range

USD $96,815.88 - USD $140,415.78 /Yr.
